    ... seen and certainly the best food I’ve had on this trip so far. The scenery of the spa was incredible with the Andes surrounding us and a beautiful river flowing beside the warm springs. Even though this obviously isn’t a tourist destination, this day was one of my favourite of the tour. An amazing relaxing day and I even got to revamp my tan!

    ... and headed to the bus station where there were police everywhere and a massive crowd of soccer fans streaming in from the nearby train station. The crowd were chanting and setting off flares, it was actually really quite scary! But luckily they didn’t come into the actual bus terminal so i headed back in there and waited for my bus (which i had got the time wrong with and i ended up being there 3 hours early!!!)

    ... doesn't exactly make it an exact replica or anything. The other 99% of the city seemed distinctly South American to us, not in a bad way, just in a disproportionate number of steak restaurants and barking dogs sort of way. Although, unlike in Buenos Aires, whenever we changed money in Bariloche we got not only a great rate, but a complimentary piece of chocolate. So that was nice.     ... views of the lakes and mountains. One might be in Canada or NZ or Switzerland. The roads are lined with huge swathes of bright yellow and orange broom, pine trees, dog roses and many other species which are familiar at home.

    Our hotel room has a great view over the lake, but absolutely rubbish internet access, hence sitting in the choc shop writing ...

    ... we arrived and what a lovely hotel it was! Located a couple of kilometres from the town centre overlooking the lake and in a hill - amazing views!!! The hotel reception, swimming pool, restaurant etc were in the same building and then the hotel can took us up to block 3 where out room was. We had a balcony with lake view, a really spacious room and jet bath - divine! After spending a bit of time in our room we heading to the hotel bar for ...
