Day of departure :( I went for one last short walk along the beach at sunrise. At 7:30 (when it opens), we drove over to Caicos Bakery to get some breakfast. Brian and Alex both got the chocolate muffin. I got the almond croissant, which turned out to be a mistake. It was very good, but the center was filled with what I assume was almond paste. And it was too rich and heavy for breakfast.
We had been planning to go for one last swim ...
Last full day
Today was our last full day, so we didn't do much. Started with a quick walk before breakfast to the nearby geocache. Then after breakfast we decided to try to find Taylor Bay.
We got there before 9 so no problems with the "parking lot" and we were able to put our stuff under a tree. It is an amazing beach. We walked way out into the bay, found a starfish, took pictures and then headed out. ...

... I shared the warm chocolate cake with Alex.
I don't know if they are regulars, but there were two adorable silver tabby cats hanging out at the restaurant. The lady next to us started feeding them slivers of what looked to be filet mignon, so I can certainly see why they would hang out there.
And then back to our beach to watch the sunset. Which, once again, was a bit too ...
SCUBA day

New Years Eve Providencia style
... us down to the beach. on the beach there was much music and would you believe more rum! i now realise how many new years eves i have had in latin america as we danced the macarena, followed the leader and sang the banana song. there was also some great latin salsa music although i found salsa dancing in the sand hard work esp as the blokes always wanted to spin me but there is no traction in sand for spinning. the la ruela ...
