... of the trip...can you believe???) that ended at around 3 pm and with a reasonably sized hangover the next day for both Dani and me. But it was a great night, with lots of laugther and some serious salsa moves so it was worth it.
Sunday it was time then for one the main reasons we came back to Banos and that was that I really wanted to go canoying. My dearest Daniela who has a small fear of hights and did first not want to join me could not resist the charmes of the guide at ...

... in Coffee Lounge. We then headed that evening to the Piscina de la virgen (thermal pools) for which Banos is also famous. There were two hot pools and one cold pool which we alternated between. The setting of this thermal spa is beautiful as it is at the foot of a waterfall where the virgin Mary is thought to have appeared. Many people in Banos attribute hundreds of local miracles to Mary. Later this evening we went for dinner in Casa ...

... city for about a half hour, got geared up, and walked up a hill to the first zip line. There was supposed to be six lines but only four were working. For the first one we just sat normal. For the second and fourth one we could go upside down if we chose. I'm chose just to go normal as I'm only so crazy and I wanted to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The third one we could go superman style. The first two lines went through the forest but the other ...
