Canyoning is abseiling down waterfalls. Pretty fun but holy **** it was cold. It's cold enough here as it is, add in some icy water and you've got a recipient for some serious teeth chattering.

The first practice dry run was 7m, then straight into a 16m drop while being pounded with water. I only slipped a few times but you can't fall far with the safety that was in place. You could still repel as fast or slow as you like. ...

... we climbed back out and went and had some empanadas that came pretty highly recommended. They did not disappoint! They even had sweet ones like banana and chocolate which was delicious. At this point we kind of ****** up and kept riding when I'm pretty sure we were supposed to catch a bus back from there. At $ 12.25 a person it is a good find. Having only eaten granola bars early in the morning our stomachs pulled us in the direction of food. In the Mercado Central we found lunch for $2.50. ... hot water. The temperature in that pool is almost too much for most people to handle. I couldn't be fully submerged for more than a few minutes!
