... so hydrated! A few drinks were in order that night with our instructors from rafting...passionfruit mojitos are a new love!

With a bit of a hangover we rented bikes and headed on a 20km cycle down through the Andes making stops at waterfalls along the way, this was incredible. We were with our friends Nikki, Frederick and Wade. Freewheeling downhill in the hot sun through mountains was breathtaking. The waterfalls were incredible. Once we got to ...

I had a really good today, until it was marred by finding out some of my stuff was stolen out of my hostel room. The day started out with a really good breakfast at a little cafe in town, then I rented a mountain bike, and met Katharina at 9:15am to go see some waterfalls.

Night time here was very interesting - Sue spent a good 10 minutes making the bed as insect proof as possible! A mosquito net was provided but she had to make sure that it was all tucked under the matress once we were in bed so that nothing could find it's way in! We also made sure that a torch was by the bed so that we could ...

Bungee jump challenge

A travel blog entry by naomitravel11 on Jul 11, 2014

... local vodka which was made from sugar cane with sweet sugary drink to drink after the shot. We walked onto the bridge and watched a man jumped off. The nerves hit me and I have told many people that I would never do bungee jump ever, here I am doing one! Rico went first and he done it many times, which made it looks easy. So I build up courage to do it after all. Then when Holly went, she questions a lot and even checked the harness to make sure. ...
