... island is only small so we managed to cover it in a day with stopping of lots of times at different sites. It was nice not to have to rely on a tour bus or other people, we could go and do what we wanted. It's a gorgeous island out from the centre of Chaweng Beach. Our intention for the night was to watch the football at 3am (obviously Steve's idea) but after having tea we were shattered from the hiking we did during the day. One of the best days so ...

The village looked clean, with a plentiful supply of restaurants, and easy to navigate. Our accommodation, "The Waterfront", was at the near end of the village. ... hike. I peeked in at the tiger photo booth. What a beautiful animal, but it's really sad to think of it chained up getting its picture taken with tourists all day. Kinda glad I didn't contribute to that practice. Same with the elephants :( After the hike I scoot scooted to chaweng beach. Not my favourite, I like limaei better. Now I am spoiling myself to a high price salad and chicken, but I saved money today on low cost activities. Bon ...

... only to realise that we were English and that the rest of humanity must be Spanish because no one else was leaving before 12am... so Boxing Day came around and we finally left for the Full Moon Party Christmas Day special and my expectations were spot on, it was absolute crackhead central. Here's a run down of what I saw: - everyone jumping around like retards to god-awful music; - people ******* in the sea and drunkenly falling into it; - an elderly couple way out of ...
