Aug 25-28 JNM (Sam in NY with Tony camping) Enjoyed our 3 night stay at Kate and Nik's: 5131 Penn Ave. Reminded us of the apt building in Alex. We did the Duck Tour, saw a lot of sights, Squirrel Hill walk around, bought teas, watched RedBox movies, and Highland Park. Not impressed with the slum feeling. Took 4 hours without traffic. It also boasts 3 rivers all merging in one corner: the Monongahela, the first one we rode on, merges with the Ohio, and round the corner the boat then went up the Allegheny.This city's wealth was built on it's steel industry, so the rivers were very necessary in shipping the cargo. Today we saw a barge being towed with an unknown cargo, so I'm pleased to see that it still is utilised.

Being on the Bible team was a wonderful experience. I loved working with Sheran and Janet to tell the story of Joseph to the chilrdren we met.
