    But many many happy memories.

    It was sad to leave our friends @ Germantown, near Washington. Once again, we are reminded how generous people are with their time and hospitality.

    Our journey will now take us in a north-westerley direction with our eventual goal being the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming before the winter sets in.

    On the way we will meet up with some other friends who we last saw in 2003 in Chad's home ...

    ... today. After about 4 hours of driving and walking we headed back to the hotel for a rest and we looked over all of the pictures. For dinner we ordered our food at about 6:15.     ... s 50th birthday present to himself. My mother preferred dry land - i.e. she liked the beach! I think the RV was a good compromise! I don't know if they ever filled the whole map but I bet they came pretty close. {Random thought - Ohio looks a lot like upstate NY.} For only 15 miles West Virginia, and the western edge of Pennsylvania, was probably the most picturesque part of today's drive.  Maybe that's why it's called the Ohio ...
