Had a lovely breakfast at 8am this morning. There is a cook at the school in the morning who can make you eggs and toast. After that we went to say good morning to the kids in the classes. They all look very cute and smart in their school uniforms. We went in to a couple of different classes starting from as little as age 3,5 and they all learn to read! Very impressive! When we came in to the classrooms they all looked at us in amazement, ...

  • Old Goa (mildly interesting)
  • Paradise beach (a nice drive to a beautiful & empty beach, too quiet for me though)
  • Margao (city. dirty.)
  • Dudseghar waterfalls (a good day trip, more spectacular in monsoon season or just after I think)
  • Aguarda fort, it was OK. Nice ride ...

... and spent some time getting to know them. Its nice that we have been able to start meeting people on their travels and sharing stories.

From Hampi we travelled to Goa for some well earned chill out time before we leave India for Thailand on the 16th. Goa is stunning and our hotel is fab. We booked into a fancy place the best we have stayed in so far as a bit of a treat. We intend to just chill out here either at the hotel pool, or the beach. We ...
