... a city boy. What should I know about being in the park.

... and CC would be able to get in. The lady on the phone informed me they hadn't plowed because they didn't even get an inch of snow. I couldn't believe it. All day I had been hearing reports about how bad Northern Minnesota was from the Polar Vortex and they had only gotten a dusting at Lake Itasca.
Anyway, I arrived at Lake Itasca and it is beautiful. My next post will be about tonight's adventures. They were a lot of fun.

... campground and went into the town for a couple of pics before heading out on the road with Garmin guiding us to Minneapolis, the initial destination for the day. With Garmin taking the lead, we meandered the quiet two lane county roads in a south by west direction toward that first destination; at times feeling like we were going a bit in circles after a detour gave Garmin cause to "recalculate" often.
