      ... our awe upon hearing that our friend Jane and her family made numerous-wait for it-push bike trips from Moe railway station to Walhalla and back to stay at the family holiday cottage high on the hill in Walhalla. Jane, if you are reading this, take a bow!! And congratulations to your father who encouraged you all to be fit enough to ride bikes, and build up the stamina required to make such family excursions actually happen.

      ... 11 , met all players at the ground at 11.30 run a good warm up session , won the toss on a hot day a bravely inserted them . My team was not happy with me haha . Bowled them out in 18 overs for 68, I took two wickets and fielded well a good start as captain . And we chased in down in 16 overs 5 wickets down, I came in and hit winning runs and finished not out . Not a bad start to the season ...

      ... for when Sal, the GPS, was having to contend with the music and I couldn't hear where I was supposed to turn. I quickly looked at the GPS map but when there are roundabouts and side road junctions very close together, it all got too much, so I turned straight away instead of at the 300m roundabout designated by Sal.       ... as far as Port Campbell and then headed overland back towards Melbourne. We passed through Melbourne round 4:30 in the afternoon rush hour, and then continued on east to Morwell.
