Tuesday morning we woke at 7:00 to what looks like a modern city. Weather says it's gonna be a good day! First stop was at Santa Cruz castle. This castle was built in the 16th century to protect the harbor of La Coruña. This is one of three that protect the harbor. A lazy lunch in the Orangery and we then found another quiet spot to read and generally chill. Showered and ready for dinner at 6:30, only four of us again, the other couple must be struggling again with the movement of the ship though ...

Friday, Oct 4, 2013Santiago! (Debs, Al arrive; Mom, Dad & Bill continue their stay)

1059 Pilgrims arrived today - including Deb & Al!

There's no telling what got into Al this morning, but he woke up about 5:30 am and was ready to get going shortly thereafter. Debs had another awesome night sleep and told him to jump in the lake! In the end some sort of compromise was made because we were out the door, in the dark at about 7:30; it was ...
