    ... to Barcelona. Got my window seat. We then chilled out in the little restaurant till flight boarded.

    Got given a voucher for $40 to spend at Changi airport . $20 could be used in the Ambassor Lounge so we cashed it in and spent the time up there relaxing in comfortable seats and having milos and cookies.
    Both Tim and I managed to get some sleep on the plane. Annoyed the hostess as kept lifting the window shade to check out the sunrise.

    All in all a typical flight ...

    ... of the gorgeous surroundings and we daily walked the everchanging waterside marveling at the diverse beauty even though it is obvious the damage the horrific cyclone had caused with trees down and sand banks eroded. At low tide there was a HUGE expanse of mudflats to traverse. The daily pelican dance was quite the sight to behold!

We drifted off the sleep listening to the incredible racket of the birds which had been joined by many more that returned from the sea for the night.     We'd been trying to work out for some time how we would fill in the next two days, specifically, did we went to try and see turtles at Mon Repos. We were taken with the idea, but it was a 7pm till possibly 2am kind of thing as turtles inconsiderately nest at night and we had a little person in tow, and we'd seen a couple of turtles whilst snorkelling already...
