    ... was huge. AL said you can't see a thing except the cane out the windscreen. AL thought it was great. Then we finished the drive around the property. We then went back to their place for lunch.After lunch we went out to Miara.     ... going to the markets.
    Walked several kilometres from the caravan park to Mon Repos which is the largest loggerhead turtle rookery in the South Pacific. Loggerhead, Flatback and Green Turtles come ashore from November to February to lay their eggs and the hatchlings emerge from January till late March. So unfortunately we have missed out on this spectacle.

    Drove to Brisbane with Geoff & Barbara Last to watch the Wallabies beat the Springboks. Stayed overnight ...

    ... and the electric BBQs are free to use.

    The caravan park is run by two guys, Geoff and Andy. They are a lot of fun running a sausage sizzle and entertainment every Tuesday night, with other entertainment on various other nights, with donations going to Angel Flight. These nights are a lot of fun, but could be a bit crude for youngsters.
