... this spot...but we were disappointed with the area and the park.....also visited Burnett Heads, and again nowhere as nice as the park and surrounds of Bargara Beach where we are.

After breakfast we set off to the Bundaberg rum distillery and took the guided distillery tour. We were entertained by a Colombian tour guide and got to sample some of the top shelf rum at the end of the tour - hard liquor just after 12noon!!
After lunch the rains came, so we took care of some small shopping items..... well, mainly ...

Great to catch up with Peter & Leslie again and enjoy Sunday lunches at Waterfront restaurant and also the Salty Squid in Toogum.
The Sunsets are simply stunning and ever evening is different.
The return visit is to get canopy fitted to F truck and the boys at Dynamic have done a fantastic job and it looks great.

What made it worse was the person who wrote the article had traveled and volunteered extensively and after several years experiencing it for herself and setting up a company to help others travel she now decided that all volunteering was bad and simply self gratifying. Lets be honest there are very few great adventures or noble causes left in terms of traveling, everything has been discovered or done before, millions of times. ...
Walking back towards our caravan, we saw people outside checking their power connections and then saw them looking over at our caravan, which looked like a beacon all lit up. It can be good having your own independent power supply when bush camping but it’s even better when you are in a caravan park and there’s a loss of power to the caravan park.
