First day in the Big Easy
Well the apartment lived up to its four star rating - its fantastic! Big bedroom, huge deck and living area, its got a second bedroom we discovered and another bathroom, separate study as well as well as really well equipped kitche.

Laurie showed me a bush turkey nest, it’s about a meter high and just leaves, branches piled high, they bury their eggs in there and just hang about until they hatch, the leaves and branches keep the eggs warm enough, I think they hang about to protect the eggs from the snakes
It was BBQ time, Laurie had set the BBQ up and was cooking ...

We have been staying with friends and it was there sons 17th birthday party last weekend, Sam is the biggest dag he ended up having a few and as a resault was eating handfuls of cake and doing nudey runs, think he is a lot like his father! Kirstin and Amber came down for it and it was so nice to catch up with these old friends ...
Wine glass Bay!!
... As usual, I (the queen of accident-proneness!!) kept tripping up as I was running down-hill. (When I say I'm the queen, in fact I do know someone who is worse than me-don't I CHRISTINE?-hee hee!!). The walk/run down to WINEGLASS BAY took us about 45 minutes.
