We came in late, as said, so we didn't have an idea of the actual view. Opening, the curtains of my room, I saw the majestic YangTze river… I had read so much about it, so this was great for me to experience this.

Buckle up; this was a fast paced day.

We then caught the small ferry across the river and went to Hubuxiang street for more dry noodles with sesame paste, and spicy potatoes, before returning back to the hotel via the ferry to get a taxti (very difficult!) to get to the station for our 5pm train back to Nanjing.

... lived in New York for years, and her western partner was a lovely Greek man called Nick. We spent a long time chatting to them and had a lovely pizza and a couple of bottles of white wine. Nick gave us two chocolate puddings on the house. We finally came back to the Holiday Inn and went into Toucan, the Irish Bar son site, and had a nightcap.
