The first thing i did is go to my best friend Juliana birthday party and i was the only one to come because all other friends ditch her sec for me i was happy i was happy to go because everybody who was suppose to come didn't watch the other blind side and we went out to eat they should come Juliana just turn 15 year old she is so cool and she is my best friend forever.....:D

Skipped breakfast and went for brunch with Jan & Jack to a deli in nearby Vernon called Rein's. At the Tuesday Morning in the same strip center I bought a stocking cap for walking about Boston, as the weather is supposed to turn cold. Jan found just the perfect one for me--brown with a few stripes that matches my raincoat.

After a full day of driving we said good-bye to Jack and Jan, then went for a walk, stopping by Whole Foods to pick up a couple of food items to eat for dinner back in the room. We marveled over the perfect weather--68, sunny with a few clouds and a light breeze. We were really fortunate.

... appetizer, then I had lobster ravioli in fish broth with a steamed lobster on the side (you get an extra for only $10--this obviously isn't the Midwest!) Chris had fall harvest soup, char-grilled char, and flourless chocolate cake. I had a Tattinger champagne and Chris had a Rombauer zin that Paul selected. We all had a great time, although Jack was quiet, but then, he's never a big talker anyway. The evening was really lovely.

Woke to a cloudy, rainy day and went for a seven mile walk. For lunch we ate soup, then Jan and I went downtown to the Mark Twain House Tour. We missed the parking lot and ended up parking on the street, which was fine, although a bit damp. The tour was interesting, but we both agreed it seemed dark and dreary inside, and would have better viewed on a sunny day with light streaming in the beautiful stained glass windows. Another beautiful weather day. Woke at 5:00 and was out the door for my walk by 6:00, even though it was still dark. After my return, we departed for Mystic Seaport, but first stopped for gas on our way out of town. I walked across the street and found a brand-new Portuguese bakery called Doce Vida. I bought a Pastei de Nata (sort of like a creme brulee only in puff pastry) which we later split three ways among us--yumm!! Once in Mystic we wandered ...

... fact I'm sitting here right now with ice on my one knee. I have a minor sports injury. Hardly possible for someone like me who thinks sweating is a sin.
