As soon as we awoke this morning I jumped in She's rucksack, snuggled up for the day. A brisk walk took us to the high point of Vigo. The Castro complex at the top of the hill overlooking the Ria de Vigo.

Awoke to rain slamming on the skylight, had breakfast with all but us 3 in dressing gowns very weird. Hit the road with rain slamming on us, Seven wet Kilometres later we found a cafe, joyfully huge cups of Coffee and our Mexican Girls we met the previous evening. Day trip to A Guarda

... and and a half journey took us to the coastal town of A Guarda which is mainly a working fishing harbour. It's out of season now but we managed to find one place still open which sold seafood. Mussels, scallops and langoustines - excellent.

There is a lovely coastal walk towards the border with Portugal where the waves crash in from the Atlantic. It's pretty undeveloped here and full of atmosphere.

... where folks come to regain their health. Unfortunately it is to wet and cold to sample them. So best try the Vino instead. Heck Freddy is fraught lots of old folk in robes, little tiled rooms and nurses, lounges with card games and Tv's everywhere dark and dreary.
