Day 2 O Porrino to Arcade 14.5 miles It looked like rain all morning, but we lucked out and didn't get wet. As a result it was cool and a little breezy until the afternoon when the clouds lifted and the sun came out. We kept putting on and taking off our windbreaker. ... made me think about the normal food we are eating on this journey- here everything is about the food. Breakfast is usually coffee with milk- a kind of cafe latte, a fresh roll or croissant, bacon (more like our ham) orange juice, slices of cheese and many times ham, and occasionally some fresh fruit. Leaving Plymouth on Wednesday at 7 am we started the Arc Portugal rally with another 8 boats.We had a fair wind, a pleasant force 3 and a beautiful morning. Early afternoon the wind started to drop and of course the boys put up the gennaker. Phil's cottage pie went down very well indeed. Duncan put his fishing lines in and out for the whole trip but we were rather concerned about catching any fish that could swim at 8 to 10 knots!

Fantastic Camping at a camperstop 20m from an amazing white sand beach with ************e on it..! 10/10 €6 a night including a free washing machine, washing machines have ALL been €4-6 on this trip..!!!
