... guess I'm used to paying to use a toilet and getting 5 squares of toilet paper to use that must go into the trash bin afterwords. (Same in South America). I have not seen the underground to Thai culture but sure I will see that soon enough. We travelled from the rain forest to Patong Beach. We were forewarned that Patong would be busy but it did not prepare us for the real thing. There were so many people everywhere and so many little shops. The vendors here are more aggressive than anywhere we have been before and I did not enjoy that at all.
