... Kamala beach and onto Surin beach, which is just down the road from us! We get out the car and along with the rest of the crowd on the beach, we await the sun-set on what has been a really lovely day out in the company of our new friends, Niko & Ton!!

The sun sets and we get dropped of at our apartment as we are too tired to go to the village for tea, it will have to be noodles for us tonight then, haha!!!

... mentioned condition ...eat Asian food full time ! I know I have given the Russian tourists a bit of a hard time but they are in the most part rude ,arrogant ,stand offish, shout a lot when they are not understood, just want to eat Russian food and drink vodka....... 8am wake up call 830am rushed through breakfast, but it was worth it cos... 9am pick up for elephant strolling. Yes, you heard me, elephant strolling! ... they have signs of the architecture from the boom period 100 years ago when tin was a valuable commodity and mined on the island. Large Sino-European mansions built by the tin barons and small Sino-Portuguese Shop houses stacked along side each other like Victorian Townhouses where the shopkeepers lived above there shops. Some pretty little apartments here but a lot of it is very run down. Also found a couple of galleries ...
