... him. Ahem. We ended up staying in Ensenada for around 5 days hanging out with our new found friends frequenting the Jazz Cafe, which became our local, where George worked playing piano. Katy and I couldn't believe the generosity of absolutely everyone we met without exception. It was an amazing welcome to Mexico. We had the BEST time.

Today is day 30 of our vacation adventure and we realize we've practically forgotten what and where home is. Our ship time was really great and we totally enjoyed spending time with my parents and sister, and her hubby.

Ensenada is not what I expected. Lonely planet has the annoying habit of making every hole in the wall sound like paradise. Not to say that Ensenada is a hole in the wall, but it's really not my style. It's pretty big, and hugely touristy, but still pretty nice. Ive visited Mexico a number of times, especially while going to school. The border cites aren't the best place to go if you want to appreciate any county. I hope to travel more of Mexico soon. We visited a winery on the way to this area of Baja.
