... and money to push through. I know the time will fly by and although I'd wish It didn't, I am looking forward to returning to my country even if only for a short stint. I am sure that travelling back home will feel like the most foreign experience I've encountered yet and the thought of it makes me slightly nervous inside. First full day in Crete, what should I do? BEACH .. obviously. I wake up around 7:30, wipe the sleep from my eyes, and notice a light coming through the crack of the door - sunshine !! (when I arrived last night it was very cloudy, sprinkles of rain). I open the door like cinderella opening window shutters ... only to find - clouds. Ah well, it’s ...

    A quick stop

... I hadn't planned to go ashore as I had visited before but I could certainly understand the disappointment of those who didn't get a chance.

I ate on deck 9 at the back of the boat and then headed off to peace and a good book - thank goodness for my Kindle. It is very rough and hard to walk along the hallways but cosy in my little cabin number 6018 - perhaps I should have tidied it before taking a photo though!
