... it was soon time to return to the bus. Kegon Waterfalls, one of the most famous waterfalls in Japan, was our next destination. With views of Mt Nantai, we waited with scores of schoolchildren to take the 100 m elevator down to the observation deck. Mist sprayed from the 316 foot spring-fed waterfall. It was breath-taking. Tomorrow will also be the final ride of my tour before I return to Tokyo on Sunday and get ready to fly back.

... sweet taste to it that was delicious on its own but was highly complementary when combined with the other breakfast items. You don't usually think about rice and how it tastes but, on this occasion, I came to realize that my stay in this inn had brought me to a state of contemplation, of appreciating the slow, quiet pace of life in this corner of the world. It's so quiet at this inn. At night, I don't hear a thing compared to the noises of the city at all hours of the day and ...

... one - Rhonda Rousey anyone? Hehehehe. It was all over by 2pm so we headed back to our stunning hotel and had a much needed rest. It was then bed time for us so we tucked into our massively comfy bed and caught some z's. Most of the pics are on Steves phone so I will upload those when we return home ...
