Denmark was a lot of fun.

We woke up really, really early ( it was still dark!) we had a little breakfast which involved: some cereal and a croissant. After a little driving we arrived at the airport where we dropped off the hire car and went on the airplane to Denmark! After a short one hour flight we got picked up by Folmer and Anna (my great aunt and uncle) and had a little picnic. After that we drove to Legoland!

I was amazed at how many Lego figures there ...

When we got to Denmark we got picked up by Folmer and Anna. Folmer looks just like Far Far. They took us straight to Legoland. I loved it there. It had lots and lots of Lego there. I loved the Haunted house and the polar bear roller coaster.

We had a party for Signe and I ate some corn and the dog ate some corn. By the way it was actually cow corn. I picked corn from the fields and had a Corn Company ...

... She is now taking an interest in what she wears - which explains why she's had the same green dress on for the last week or so! We finally managed to get her into something else and, to rejoin the hiking theme, we went for a walk with a twist near Ardal the next day. The forest was filled with carvings and characters from Norwegian fairytales and Phoebe had great fun finding them, followed closely by being made to pose for photos next ...

.....and we're off!

So, here it starts. The big bike adventure I had been dreaming about for so long. Maybe not so big in duration as I only had 1 week holiday, but the distance, the area and the first proper long trip on the old Katana.
I was nervous. Would the bike make it? If not I could always leave it and fly home, but I had to try!
