... had it for Sunday lunch, along with Yvonne's 'smashed potatoes' and cabbage from the garden boiled in a little vege stock - very tasty, although my one customer found the tomato puree sauce I cooked the rabbit in was too vinegary - I'll do better next time..

Now it's my time off (2-4pm each day) - I'm too tired for walking today and it's really hot, so I'm resting on my bed, catching up with you lot!!.

... of a sense of direction. Saturday, I re-walked a path I knew to the river Alde and listened to the marshes rustle in the wind - they're quite noisy when they get together - and enjoyed some scenes that I guess I've seen in English art and English stories - the English countryside at it's best. I think East Anglia, where I'm staying, has the best weather in English - it's absolutely stunning weather! It's sunny every day with a clear blue sky, with very little wind to ...

Norwich is, if honest, a little isolated. There seems to be no quick way to get to the city either by road or rail and the journey just seems far longer than it really should (some of the scenery en-route is not that inspiring either) however when you do get there what a delightful city it is!

We were met by our good friends Tim, Georgie and Tom at Norwich station at 11.15 (after leaving Derby at 07.53) to go dragon hunting. There are in total 84 GoGoDragons ...

... right now!!!! She'd even left meals in the freezer and soup in the fridge and a banana cake on the bench. What an act to follow!

Anyway, she disappeared the next day and i was on my own - boy was i scared!!! and I mean really scared! I'm just expected to slot right in, but she doesn't realise I've actually got no idea what the ^%#&! I'm s'posed to do...and I'm not s'posed to say I'm new - yeah right!! 10 pages of handwritten ...

... Yarmouth. Great Yarmouth has a long promenade along the beach with a carnival feel along the road. Lots of arcades and. Trinket shops with many fish and chip shops. We went to one place called Harry Ramsden's where we could seat 11 of us together. I had a small cod with chips and baked beans. I'm not so keen on those mushy peas.

On our way out of town, the mini bus had to stop at the ice cream shop. Richard's wife, Pat, bought some ...
