Unfortunately, strolls in the Norfolk countryside would be a fight to stay upright whislt being soaked to the skin by the current weather ...
Aylsham, England, United Kingdom lifeinbrian... please.
To cut a long story short, our foray into mainland Europe has been postponed whilst we hide in Norfolk, cross our fingers and toes (and other body parts) and rather anxiously await news on Brian's health. Good news, the flat purchase went through at the end of October, it's decorated and now with a letting agent. Bad news, it needed a new boiler and radiators!

Halloween was last night and so much fun! I went to the party at the LCR (a bar/dance venue on campus) which was sold out in about an hour on Monday morning! Luckily I lined up early so I had a ticket. Seven people from my flat went, so that was nice - we had fun hanging out together and getting ready together. Adam in my flat went as God, which was pretty funny, and went perfectly with me (the Devil) and Teresa (an angel). Everyone's costumes looked great, actually ...

Plus all the shops had put up their Chistmas window displays that weekend, so we had fun staring at those. After shopping we went to see a movie called The Invention of Lying. It starred Ricky Gervais and was pretty funny. Not a really great plot and a very corny ending, but some definite laughs. Loved the ...
Cromer, England, United Kingdom hannahfoster... the getting up in the middle of the night (06:50) to get there for 08.00. Mind you I have been very lucky because Tony has done everything else while I have been at work - I just came home pleaded complete exhaustion and ate the meal he had cooked with the occasional glass of wine ( or Pims).
What completely took me by suprise was the very generous leaving present I recieved - some emergency funds for our forthcoming trip. I ...
... outdoors. Even if you are not a fan of the outdoors, this will still be a great adventure for two newlyweds. Experiencing wildlife is never boring. It is something fun, different, and a great experience. Honeymoons can be very pricey, but these are very affordable rates. Just think of all the great stories you can tell when you return home. Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom purejulie... arriving in Wroxham we were told that there were no boats available and they shut up shop at 6pm so we were too late. Anyhow we drove slightly south of Norwich - still on the broads and found a lovely country pub to have a drink and sit in the garden in the afternoon sun. Sunday we got up and spoke to Gin on Skype which was fantastic as it was the first time I had seen her in 18 months!! The joys of technology. We decided to head to Wroxham, to hire a boat ...
