... to see and you MUST visit here. Best of all there is a massive room (larger than an ice rink) filled with all different kinds of rocks and minerals!! Not going to lie, half way through I got a nose bleed because I was so excited (or so Stef says).

That pretty much sums up our last 3-4 days. We are hoping to have a more chill and nose bleed free weekend!

Hope all is going well at home

Oh that first real sleep after the flight was beautiful! Spent the morning relaxing in the sun here at our lovely apartment, overlooking a rolling green lawn, complete with Barney, the shy black Labrador cross and his even shier black and white feline friend.

Headed off to the funeral in the afternoon, in a lovely little village called Fletching, so named because its where the arrows were produced for the Battle of Hastings. Clare's father was ...

So here we are...writing my first blog entry in Justine's sister's (Gabby's) flat in south east London, with the sun setting and a view of a glittering and distant canary wharfe. If England can provide such cracking weather, what will the Caribbean be like? Epic. Its been a hectic few days - if I've learnt anything it's that I'm a disorganised soul, leaving things until the last minute. But here we are, a living room full of luggage and if ...

Most of this great group of people I have come to know over the past 7 months or more, taking part in the adventure to Paris in aid of many charities across the UK, have just had a pleasant Italian meal, a gentle stroll and now all tucked up for an early night. Alarm set for 0455 and 0500, breakfast at 0530, registration from 0600 and heading South by 0700. Please let the weather men be wrong, winds of up to 30mph forecast, boo hoo! More tomorrow ...
