    So leave today to fly from London Heathrow to Hong Kong followed by Hong Kong to Auckland, New Zealand. Very nervous but at the same time excited about this new journey in my life :) here goes a 36 hour all round flight, 3 hour wait in Hong Kong. Will update when arrive on 18th January in Auckland :)... Time to hit the bar before boarding ...

    ... platform. We caught the tube to Camden Town, which took a bit longer than Dylan and I expected actually. Once there it was trying to look at everything, everyone, and trying to avoid running into people. It was very busy! So many interesting shops and stalls to see. We got lunch whilst there, and we had Pakistani Roti which had amazing flavours, followed by a caramel and chocolate filled churro ...

    Tuesday Oh that first real sleep after the flight was beautiful! Spent the morning relaxing in the sun here at our lovely apartment, overlooking a rolling green lawn, complete with Barney, the shy black Labrador cross and his even shier black and white feline friend.     ... and gave us the wrong food on a few occasions. We were all exhausted and cranky by the time we got to Abu Dhabi and were dreading getting on the plane again.

    Luckily it was a different plane and a much shorter flight, whcich meant that it was alot more bearable. We were all desperately happy to get off the plane, and of course to have an emotional reunion with our wonderful friends who were waiting with hand-crafted Welcome Home signs!
