          It has been a rather eventful 5 weeks as of late. Emotional would be the word that comes to mind. I finished up with London Youth Games in mid July, started temping again, got told all of my house mates were moving out, Garth Brooks cancelled his concert, I was thrust back into the world of job hunting and facing the possibility of coming home due to dwindling savings and no travelling.

          Now standing at the end of my second week of a 'career' job ...

          ... of billies friends came round to catch up. Which was nice, I didn't feel so bad leaving her then. So I went off on my merry way, caught as then a train to get to Carly (dans sister) and meet her at the train station. She was lovely, and her son is so cute!           Our friends have helped us find a place for 5 weeks, near Crystal Palace Station and it's beautiful! We couldn't ask for a better place and we hope to find more permanent accommodations close by. It's about a 40-50 minute commute from central London, but it's quiet and lots of space!

          So leave today to fly from London Heathrow to Hong Kong followed by Hong Kong to Auckland, New Zealand. Very nervous but at the same time excited about this new journey in my life :) here goes a 36 hour all round flight, 3 hour wait in Hong Kong. Will update when arrive on 18th January in Auckland :)... Time to hit the bar before boarding ...
