... I couldn't cross the square since I might lose a kid. I was kinda getting a tad stressed. I phone Chrissy and she passed me to Alice, both trying to help me figure out where to go and how. Alice then passed me to Justin since he seemed to know where to go, but instead of telling me what to do he asked, quite seriously, if I died could he have my laptop. It was so crazy and unexpected that I burst out laughing and said yes! Too funny! Anyways it broke the tension and the ...

    Brighton Day Out

A beautiful sunny autumn day in England deserves a beach side day trip!

A group of 6 expat Aussies; Abby, Amanda, Brad, Josh, Kate and I made our way on the coach to the sea for the day. Meandering the lane ways and markets, sitting on the pebble beaches and for the crazy others, jumping in the 10degree ocean for a swim!

The day wouldn't be complete without a trip to the funfair on the pier and an off licence session in the park! What a perfect Sunday!

... are for adding another Gaslow tank, an external gas point, an oyster satellite dish and a generator. I need to find the smart for trailing behind the van in the next few months. I've taxed my MG for six months - the last tax I shall buy for it before I scrap it. I'll be sorry to see it go - it's given me a lot of pleasure, but I need the space and its too long to drag behind Monty.
And what about the next Monty adventure? When will he go back to France? Who knows?

    University Life

After an action packed 3 weeks of travel it was time to slow the pace down and settle into life as a university student. Well....kind of.
I'm staying in the student accommodation here on campus at the University of Surrey in Guildford, just south of London. This is where Anna has to be for her course. We arrived here on the Saturday from Wimereux where we had to catch a ferry across the channel then a bus to London and another bus to Guildford.
    We settled in ...
