Spent 5 days during the Chaplin Film Festival. Had a great sea view suite which was very comfortable. The food was excellent at every meal and the service was to a very high standard with very friendly people. Would highly recommend it to anyone

About a quarter of the way up, the rain began to fall more heavily, so we donned our rain jackets and the rain covers for our backpacks. It wasn't a downpour by any means, but we didn't want to have to ...

Muckross House is a lovely mansion built in the 1840s. We had a guided tour with a lady who clearly likes her job. The interior isn't spectacular or anything, but they've kept all the original furnishings and paintings, including original wallpaper and draperies. So in a way, it still looks lived in. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, four of their children, and 100 retainers ...

John needed a new book, so we went into the bookstore we remembered from our last visit, then walked the streets of the town for a while. Some say Killarney is quite “touristy”, and in some ways it is, but I like it. ...
