With dinner done, and not wanting to set out for any new adventures tonight, because quite frankly we're exhausted, and the tomorrow sees us trekking up into the mountains to Nagano. Should be a very different experience to the crowds and rush of Tokyo.

We took off at 10:33 from Runway 16C. The time change to Tokyo is 16 hours forward, so it’s now 2:33 a.m. Friday JST. A flight time of 9:15 was announced, so that should put us in Tokyo about 11:48. I’m enjoying sitting at the windows, which on the 787 are larger than normal and electronically dimmable. ...

... South Korea...and we all wanted to practice French! It was French night at this bar, which has a different language hosted every night for people to come and practice it.

Finally around midnight I caved and took the train with some other people from the bar. The last train leaves around midnight, and I wasn't looking forward to spending three hours walking back to my hostel tipsy and tired. Jet lag finally caught me!
