... turn of events, and after our fish stopped moving, we started to cook our food and, well, let's just say the fish didn't die in vain. It was an excellent meal, we both really enjoyed it - particularly when we got stuck into the sake and plum wine!

That evening involved Cormac getting a shiatsu massage from a nimble, old Japanese lady, who jumped all over him like a cat, followed by cocktails and a soak in a hot-tub on the roof, overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, and ...

... that place, there’s some mad thing happening everywhere you look. Naomi enjoyed a Japanese Lumiere’s show (the candle dude of Beauty and the Beast for all you as ignorant as Tim) and Tim enjoyed a end of the day run on the Tower of Terror which Naomi joined him on sacrificing the apparently awesome lights show (love hurts).

... seem to go to school around here the queues were too big for us to get on more than two rides. We went out for a curry, which is just a curry. Although apparently only two dishes didn't contain nuts. One of which was a Lamb Masala, which makes me wonder what they are doing to the chicken. Speaking of food I keep forgetting to mention that the pre-packed sandwiches in shops don't have crusts on them. This goes someway to explaining why the Japanese don't have curly ...

... in at 11 PM for a welcome night's
sleep. Up at 5AM this morning to write this missive. Breakfast is
at 7AM. Steve advised being at the front of the line because our
assembling time is NO LATER than 7:40AM. We're
scheduled to ride the Tobu Ltd. Express to the mountain town of
Nikko. Rain jackets are in order today as 30% rainfall is expected.

I'll have to send this off tonight as I don't have the Internet password.

This part of our Japan trip to see Mount Fuji was a wedding gift from Jo and Nigel Whittle. When we arrived at Kawaguchiko station we found some accomodation opposite the station and headed into town to start the tour.
