... slippers off to go into our room. Dinner was included and was huge and really delicious, I think there was about 8 courses. They serve it in the room and everything was beautifully presented of course. The staff really didn't speak English but with sign language we muddled through! ... This is the one of the nicest restaurants with very good interiors and is run by a couple who are passionate about making good food. We tried one of the best thai fried rice we ever tried. Beware that the quantities are too less for the price of the dish. Order accordingly.

... we headed back to Asakusa to the shops that were closed on Friday night and successfully replaced the confiscated letter opener.
Our last night in Tokyo was spent wondering around the Ameyoko shopping district in Ueno, which was really crowded, and going to Tokyo Mid-town to see their Christmas light display. Unlike the lights in Osaka, which had some Christmas-themed attractions, these were just lighted trees and a large track of land that had been covered in blue lights. ...

... the short distance to my home for the next couple of days 'K's House Mount Fuji'. Clouds were predominant when I arrived and, as such, I could not get my first glimpse of the famous mountain. Instead I settled for making the short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko as the sun went down. Realising that I was mightily hungry I asked the hostel staff where they would recommend me to go for something to eat. They suggested an ...
