... the boat which took us for a 20min ride on the lake but unfortunately the weather was so cloudy with grey skies that we could not spot Mt Fuji. However, it was one of the most scenic places I had ever visited in my life. Surrounded by mountains on 3 sides, it was picturesque.

We woke up the next morning and there it was - the magnificent Mt. Fuji - right outside our bedroom window. Cormac nearly wept with happiness, and proceeded to take approximately 96 photos of the same vista, repeatedly, lest the mountain should suddenly disappear and we'd have no evidence that it was ever there. ... i naturally speed up - so need to watch out for that. Other than that it didn't go too badly.
Afterwards we learnt several more games for the actual practice section of a standard lesson and then into the production element which comes after (again like a little review game which the kids can use with each other to demonstrate they have learnt something). In the morning I did the Kyoto Station Sywalk, which gives great views of the skyline. Then it was onto four different trains for the 5 hour trip to Kawaguchiko which is a town at the base of Mt Fuji.
