... a place for old school electronics lovers, this 2 story cramped shopping area under the railway has tons of Electronics stalls selling all sorts of odds and ends. Akihabara is also famous for otaku (hobbyists) of manga, anime, and all sorts with huge stores dedicated to cards, action figures, manga (Japanese comic books) and other things. It is also famous for having "maid cafes" where waitresses dress as "sexy" maids. You also see ...

Here in Tokyo, the hotel said there is no way the iPad can get here before we fly, and we will have to get it sent to us in Canada. OY! I said the Ritz would never allow that to be the case. I spoke to them and they found it and are having it sent to me ...

... pay approx. 200Y more (so like $2.15) and avoid the queues. This is only available for tourists but if you look Asian then bring your passport. It's just like any other observation tower in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. If you are just travelling with adults I would probably avoid it but the kids loved heading up to 350 floors in the elevator. We tried to head to the Imperial Palace but were stopped at the moat. The Fire Museum is good for kids, lots of interactive ...
