Early this morning there was another earthquake. Emile saw the curtains sway. When googling it, we found the epicenter was northeast off the coast of Honshu and it had a magnitude of 6.8. A true highlight of any japanese experience is Zao Onsen, a ski resort town about 45 minutes East of Yamagata.
Came here a bit by chance and was very lucky indeed. This town is so charming, lots of little lodges and restaurants, it's pretty, clean and surrounded by mountains, ski slopes and lakes.
