... Ook vandaag vonden we Mount Fuji enkel terug op de postkaartjes in de souvenirwinkeltjes. Het was nog altijd bewolkt, met af en toe een beetje regen. Maar dit weerhield ons niet om toch een wandeling te maken naar het uitkijkpunt. We zagen weliswaar Mt Fuji niet, maar hadden wel een mooi zicht op het meer van Kawaguchiko. Morgen maken we ons klaar om met de bus en daarna de Bullet trein (Shinkansen zoals ze dit hier noemen) ...

Just doing a lay over in Narita airport. I'm actually a little bummed I didn't stay a few days here, oh well. Next trip!

PS: Bathrooms were nice and clean!
PSS: I saw Ponch from CHiPs at LAX. You know? That cop show from the 80's. Erik Estrada? He was on the way to Atlanta though.

My flight from Los Angeles to Singapore is aboard an A380, the enormous double decker from Airbus. We are just 2 weeks shy of the 5th anniversary of the first commercial A380 flight, on Singapore Airlines. So they are strutting their stuff about it. ... and fresh outside. It reminds me of my skiing days. The views both up and down the mountain were obscured by cloud, which prevented any decent photo taking. The clouds have continued to blot out the sky all day, which means that unless it clears up by first thing tomorrow, the best pic I'll have is off my phone through my bedroom window.
