As the 13+ hour flight from Detroit closed in on Japan, I watched our progress on the flight tracking program on the screen in front of me. Today we went off to Nagoya Castle. So far it has been my favorite and not just because the SAKURA ARE RUFFIANLY IN FULL BLOOM but it had a awesome layout and design. We also went to the palace but it had been rebuilt and was all new so it wasn't as good. The we went to a shrine that was deep in a park that was more like a forest. There I saw Miko-sans! Later we found another discount figure store where I went a bit nuts =P

... deck that has a water pond in the middle of it. You are pretty high up and basically walking on glass. From below you can see people walking above. The view from the deck is rather spectacular. City views, bustling traffic and gardens. It's quite tranquil and when we went up to the observation deck. There were maybe three people up there. There is also some surrounding gardens and pretty architecture.

... it was time to look to get on a train and travel just out of the city center to visit Nagoya Castle.
After arriving at Nagoya Castle. We purchase our tickets and take a walk around the grounds. Nagoya castle is massive. A lot of walk ways and path ways that lead around this massive empty mote. We grab a couple of bottles of water, some ice cream and take in the scenery of this enormous structure. Just walking around the castle was enough to be in awe of this ...
