Nonetheless it was straightforward to find the castle and the edge of Meijo park. The park is apparently lovely, but I skirted the edge in the dark and rain, sticking to the paths, many tree shaded/protected, doing three laps before heading back to another lap of the smaller park in which the science museum sits and back. ... we went to a local BBQ restaurant. Yuki took care of the ordering and shortly after a plate of chicken wings was on our table. Very tasty, with a salt and pepper like flavour. After it was off to a 100 yen store, which is like a better version of our dollar stores. With Halloween not far away, there was lots of Halloween stuff to buy. It was an awkward good-bye as Papa didn't get into the car with us to go back to the hotel.
