... were a quite underwhelmed. Once again, probably due to a lack of our own intoxication. Oh well, we had fun anyway singing the "irish drinking song" game from "Whose Line Is It Anyway."
The night ended back at the hotel, and we just decided to take it easy. I think we're all getting pretty tired of living out of backpacks and sleeping on trains. Speaking of trains, we have an early one tomorrow so goodnight all!

... existence and contributions. A small town of Nibutani (Biratori) still has many populations of Ainu. At the bus stop, I was asked where I came from from an older lady. I said, "Hawaii". She just told me "thank you for coming all the way from Hawaii. It must be really cold here for you". It's summer, but yeah, it was a bit chilly for me. Next summer I hope to come back to Hokkaido and drive around, and I'd like to talk to more people. I am already looking forward to it!

... nous sommes alles voir un parc avec douves en etoile (jadis etant le lieu d'un chateau inspire des constructions de Vauban) ou commencait tout juste la floraison des cerisiers. De nouveau on a senti la frenesie des japonais... Ensuite nous attendait un bain de foule sino-japonais en haut du mont Hakodate (on l'on a pu monter en bus qui circulent seulement a partir de la nuit tombee). C'etait certes tres joli, mais pas facile d'atteindre les rembardes ...

We're in Sapporo now and it's absolutely amazing. However the hostel is charging ten yen per freaking minute to use the internet - which adds up to roughly $10 AUD an hour. So there won't be any further posts until we reach Tokyo again in another three days.
