    Today was the first day where I could use my JR Pass... Finally! No more buying tickets or having to charge my IC card. Today the destination was Hakone. Why not take the Shikansen? Hakone one of the pretty areas around Mt. Fuji. I especially liked Owakudani where the sulfur steam comes out of the ground.     ... the epitome of cuteness or "kawaii." The room was decorated in pink, white and red with hearts and cute stuffed animals. I ordered a chocolate ice cream parfait decorated to look like a bear (kuma). Matt went with the vanilla ice cream parfait decorated like a cat (neko). They were very tasty! The waitresses wore French maid outfits and chanted songs to make sure that our food would taste delicious. We ended up staying for about an hour ...
