... and an American from South Dakota. We asked the Aussie guy what he was doing in Osaka. He said he is riding Jet Skis in the Waterworld show at Universal Studios! Crikey what a job. The American guy is a water skier. They have a 12 month contract and have been here since February and they love it. ... We wanted to go to a park, which turned out to be amiss around here but a park that was on top of a shopping mall. After that our plan was to visit Osaka Castle. On the way to the rooftop park we passed through a delicacy shopping mall with loads of amazing and strange foods only to find a bit of a disappointing rooftop Namba Parks, it was just another shopping mall with some flowers and bushes.

All in all it was a good day, Except for one of my toes giving up and swelling to an ungodly size then when I was finally sitting on the train ride home I gave it up for a little old lady who got on and had to stand on my acking legs again. Oh we also found a level in a department store that was entire gundam models... an entire floor... wall to wall gundams...and not the model i wanted =(

... I think Dotombori is one of the few places which should be experienced when it is crowded. It is part of what makes it so fantastic to visit. More restaurants than you can imagine, all kinds of weird, interesting or just plain bat-**** crazy people walking around, doing their best to be noticed or stand out among the crowds.
