      Great hotel for backpackers!

This was an amazing hostel! I was in a four bed dorm but there were many, many other private rooms. The hotel had it`s own spa with its own Onsen which was pretty cool. Staff were friendly and spoke ok English. You could hire bikes out for free and there was even a PS2 with Tekken on it, which me an my friends loved!

I stayed at this hotel for a month as a base for exploring kansai. The staff are helpfull and freindly and most speak exellent english.the room was comfortable and clean and sometimes the hotel almost felt like a backpackers rather than a business hotel.A definate cosey vibe in novembers cold. The hotel was very convenient to major transport hubs like
Tennoji and abenobashi and the nearest train station is on the jr loop line and midosuji and sakaisiji lines.Taishi, the hotel area although a fairly nice area is near some run down neighbourhoods but they are interesting places to see .It is also opposite shinseki which is amazing.I liked this hotel a lot and thanks to them had a great time in Osaka.

Osaka is a really cool city and one of my favourite places I`ve visited in Japan. It has such an amazing night life and has some of the best food I`ve tasted in Japan.

When you go you have to try Okonomiyaki, it`s a sort of pancake mix with cabage and other vegatables mixed in with a Japanese sauce and mayonaise smothered on top. The …

Queen Mary in Osaka 18 March 2012

The ship was all secure at the Cruise Liner berth at Tempozan around midnight. There is a large bridge close to the front of the ship, and a giant Osaka `Eye` (Ferris wheel) just off our right (starboard) side, so near it seems you need only to reach out to touch it.

The ship`s information sheet tells us that Japan itself is slightly smaller than Norway and California, and Osaka (population 2.6 million) is ...

... we opted out of bringing the attention to ourselves. But that didn't stop one determined deer I tried to pet, which decided that the map I was holding would work just as well for his afternoon snack! According to local folklore, deer from this area were considered sacred messangers of the gods, due to a visit from one of the four gods of the Kasuga Shrine. He was said to have appeared on Mt.Mikasa-yama (the mountain at which the park rests) riding a white deer. From then on, the ...
