    Oct 8 – We flew into Narita airport and bought tickets for the JR Narita Express (NEX) train which took us into Tokyo Station easily from the airport. At Tokyo station we navigated the subway ticket machines and train lines to get to the Courtyard by Marriott Ginza with no problem despite the language barrier. Preplanning with the help of Google and You-tube videos really helped! ...

    One of the good things about solo travel is that if you wake up at 3am, and can't sleep, even though your alarm is set for 4.30am you can still get up and get really for the airport without anyone giving you a hard time about it.
