Started my long weekend off by revisiting a not too distant landmark (Seagull Island) and the route of the Hachinohe Half Marathon that I ran a few weeks ago. The route was beautiful - right along the Pacific Coast - but since I was running 13.1 miles, I wasn't carrying a camera then :o)

The Aomori area "Snow Road" (road 103) opened up on 31 Mar, so after my trip to Korea, I decided to take a trip up to the Hakkoda mountains today to drive the snow road and do some late season snowshoeing.
