... than what Google Maps said. This was most likely my downfall. Between backtracking, waiting, and because I missed a crucial train, the set back was almost two hours. I thought to myself, "Holy **** I wish I had my car right now." During my wait for the train I grabbed some snacks. I got there at 11:50 am via 3250 yen taxi ride. I planned on getting there at 10:15 am. They had lots of stuff that I liked. I wish I had more time there. I forgot to grab one of the ...

As it turns out, that means there isn't a whole lot to see in Tsukuba, so we hung out in the local mall until it was time to check into ...

We had an early breakfast with Lynne and John before meeting up with the rest of the group at Shinagwa station at 8.45am. We caught the local train to Tokyo Station and then the shinkansen to Omiya Station 23 minutes away. At the station, we caught a shuttle to the museum. The shuttle runs on rubber wheels. The nearby residents were complaining that the noise from the soon to be train would be too loud and that the town would be ...

Final preps done and just relaxing today. Marc giving his last seminar. They are giving us a goodbye party this evening and heading home tomorrow. What a summer it has been and life changing too.
