I have left my love "China" and am heading back to the States. I was in China for thee years! I will miss is there. However I get to stop by and say hello to my good friends Megan and Nick. They used to live and work in China with me. It is so good to see them!
They live in Gifu (Guh - ee - Foo) city Japan. It is a beautiful place! I love it. ...

... by his successor and stands today as it was in 1815. The Buddha itself was definitely one of the largest I have seen, although it may come in second to the reclining Buddha in Thailand...which was also covered in gold leaf.

From the Buddha it was a short walk to the foot of Mount Kinka and there we took a cable car to the top to see a replica of the local castle. It was a rainy day and the fog was so thick we couldn't see more than ...

... up to Nagishima and went to the theme park there. Although it was cold it was the perfect time to go to the theme park as there was little to no lines for most of the rides :) After going on all of the exciting rollercoasters, some twice, we went and had bagels and walked around the shops before relaxing in another Onsen. The Onsen was massive and had multiple outdoor hot springs of varying temperatures and oils. Heaven to cold limbs.

We fell into the tourist trap and bought a kids shirt, which was labeled "100", which instead of being the price in yen, is actually a size. It was 1800 Y, which we somehow failed to notice while exchanging money for it. But we have it and we intend to gift it to one little samurai we know. ...
