    ... It is a 400-meter arcade, the oldest shopping street in Hakata comprised of some 130 shops. We found some interesting shops where we bought some small Hakata type ornaments as well as an art print at at paper shop. We had our lunch the shopping arcade at an LA Hamburger shop.     ... arrived, we hopped onto a bus that took us to the starting point of our boat ride along the network of canals that flow through the city. It was a beautiful sunny day - perfect!     WE DID: - caught the train from Fukuoka (Hakata) to Nagasaki. As it's the start of Golden Week, a national holiday in Japan the reserved seat tickets had sold out by the time we got round to buying them so we turned up at the station an hour early to queue on the platform for seats - we were first in the queue and managed to get some along with space for our bags, for the 2 hour train journey. - visited the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, Memorial Hall ...
