... Upon entering the park, we saw a large 5-story pagoda and deer. Yes, deer! There are over 1200 deer that live in this park area and they roam freely, interact with humans, chill in the shade, and do what deer do. The deer seemed to be the most entertaining attraction to the thousands of school kids (ugh), and honestly, they were very adorable. ... outside and then went to find food. Whilst walking back towards Kyoto station, I found this little bakery/patisserie which looked really pretty, so I went in and brought a Japanese style sausage bun and some sandwiches for the train ride to Nara. I ate the sausage bun whilst walking back to the station but then came across this 'fast food' place (Japanese equivalent of fast food is like Katsudon, beef bowl, oyakudon...... all my favourite stuff) and couldn't help myself, so I went ...

... Snakes, Scorpions, Mounted Butterflies, mounted Moths, an Iguana, Millipedes, Mealworms, giant Mealworms, Frogs and Geckos. It was really cool and awesome to see. There was an underwater tube that let you see the sharks and fishing swimming above and around us. There were divers in the water as well.

After we went to the Aquarium we went back to the hotel and went swimming again.

The next day we went to the twin towers and we went on the Suspended ...

... the staff, the general brewing process, the aging times for different sakes and how a sake cake is made. It was a fabulous experience and we left with a few bottles of our own, of course, but with a great appreciation for sake, which can be as different as all the wines of
France. Fantastic.
