After I arrived at Narita International Airport at 23:00, I stayed overnight in a couch of the airport. On the next day, I headed for Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. We ended up leaving Denver almost 2.5 hours late. Impressively, we were only an hour late arriving in Tokyo. Despite having over 30 minutes to catch the next flight, United pulled our bags and rebooked us on a midnight flight. This was not terrible, certainly better than losing our luggage or having to handle the rebooking ourselves. The only catch was the new flight departs from Haneda airport, a solid 70 minutes across Tokyo. I'm writing this from the charter bus that ...

... bags to leave tomorrow. I will just let you know that nothing changes....my stuff was all over the place! I can't believe how quickly it has gone. I have made another family! ... came and did a performance one a traditional instrument called a Koto. Then we were able to try! I didn't think I would be any good, but after ten minutes of practice time, the leader of the group made me do a solo because I was really good. The expressions on my friends faces were priceless!
