... feature of the Gold Coast it's a bad tattoo, and let me tell you, they were all on show today. Neck tattoo's as far as the eye could see, screaming "I'm a big tough ******** who likes to travel!" or something along those lines. Tribal tatt's on what looked to me like regular white guys, and chicks with those big fat ones on their upper thigh. A real vibe killer. We sat and read, drank what was an exceptionally good coffee for an airport and finally boarded.

... 9pm. We ended up in a restaurant with pictures & pointed at a few things which arrived within 2 minutes of ordering. Helen was convinced that it was a tripe restaurant but it tasted ok and we were tired & hungry. We collapsed back at our dorm and got into our hotel provided pyjamas - they are very much like hospital gowns and we look like we're ready for an operation! Our private guide is meeting us at 9am ...

... bags to leave tomorrow. I will just let you know that nothing changes....my stuff was all over the place! I can't believe how quickly it has gone. I have made another family! It's going to be hard to go tomorrow, but that's why they invented Facebook (Yes, just for me!). I will, no doubt, see them in the coming years. I am so tired now, so I better hit the sack.

... came and did a performance one a traditional instrument called a Koto. Then we were able to try! I didn't think I would be any good, but after ten minutes of practice time, the leader of the group made me do a solo because I was really good. The expressions on my friends faces were priceless!

After that, we went our separate ways. For me, this meant to Kumamoto Castle. It is so beautiful up close. The thought that sometime this building was actually used makes ...

No time for nerves :)
