When you arrive they ask how you arrived at the brewery and if you drove there they put a tag on your lanyard to say you are not allowed alcohol tastings as the breathalizer limit in Japan is 00.00%.

... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. The Toyota Museum is very interesting, especially all the working displays. Toyota did not start off making cars, but instead started life called Toyoda and was involved in weaving and spinning fabric and making the looms as well.
