We leave Woodbridge and head to the coast visiting a couple of little towns along the way, Pretty scary roads but beautiful countryside. We make our way north and end up in Sunderland for the night which is on the coast. ... and we are so glad we made the effort of visiting. You can only visit the bunker on a guided tour which was great as the guide gave us an excellent insight into this bunker which was used as a nuclear fallout monitoring station between 1961 and 1991 and is still set-up as it was on its last day of operation. ... of the carving etc. Cunningly hidden under the paneling in the library is an old altarpiece with the emblems of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon on it. It is the only known place where these emblems survive together as they were all destroyed when Henry married Anne Boleyn. Hence why they were hidden.
