... pointed to a good result. The sign on the door said 'The Warmest of Welcomes' and indeed it was. We learned that the manager, Kate had taken over the pub six years ago when it was not a very nice place. There was some fighting and a lot of bad language. She told them that if they wanted to act like children she would treat them as such and so she instigated the 'naughty step' outside where patrons who behave badly are given the option to ...

It's not long before we're setup, changed and wandering into Keswick for food and a couple of pints.
The walk down takes a bit longer than the ride up and we stop at the Twa Dogs Inn to quench our ...

... 6 or so batters to make about 164 runs, then bowled them out for 103 or so so was a good win. Jack bowled a few overs and took the wicket of their best batter (clean bowled) so that was exciting given he hasn't bowled much this tour. He also did a spectacular jump, throw bowl that of course was a no ball and had the crowd laughing, sadly for him Sarahjane captured the whole thing on film, one for his 21st. Betty and Ann put on a spread for dinner, a good Aussie BBQ that ...
