We had an interesting start to the day. I set off for an early morning dip in the Onsen and was about to enter what had been the men's bathroom the night before when I noticed a pink curtain across the door. Walking all around this town yesterday, about 10km walk in total, with various historical sights mainly about the young samurai's that committed mass suicide here at the time of the civil war (1868). Also quite impressive is the Tsuruga-jo castle, totally destroyed but rebuilt for us to visit.
