... good hiking. The villages along the way were tucked into the valleys and were all quite small. Not sure what they do there as it felt that it was quite remote even though you are only 50km from a very industrialised part of Japan. A car is the way to go so you can take your time and explore. Next time!!!
Kochi nice. Quite a big city although quite compact. My initial ...
... would use the correct term - typhoon, but we don't want to alarm the punters on board. Still, we ensure our little white caffeine pills are handy just in case.
With deck chairs lashed to the railings, and outside exits on decks 4, 11 & 12 locked for our safety, we queue up for tickets to the Ice Show then head to the towel folding at High Notes on deck ...

Nach Kotohira fuhren wir ins Iya-Tal. Dort hat es viele Steilwände und Flüsse, welche sich auch zum River Rafting sehr eignen.
Anschliessend fuhren wir nach Kochi, wo wir übernachteten.
After Kotohira we drove to the Iya Valley. There are a lot of steep face and rivers where you also can go rafting.
In the afternoon we drove to Kochi, where we also stayed for the night.
