    We left our little bit of paradise and were headed toward Genoa along the coast road enjoying the amazing scenery but there was a hold up ahead which turned out to be a diversion for us. We were told we couldn't continue on this road so had no choice but to be diverted onto a toll road. So we changed tack and decided to give Genoa a miss and head up towards lake Como.     An easier day today - only a half hour walk after our bus ride into the hills to in Castagnole Monferrato. It was a little hazy but the view across the vineyards was glorious. Hayfever struck once again - this time it was the snowflake trees which were scattering pollen everywhere.     Woke up bright and early to go to train station as Bruno was panicking. We got there just after six thirty and our train was leaving at seven fifty seven. So we sat and waited........ There was a strike so some trains were cancelled which made us even more nervous about our train. Luckily it was a main line so was still running.
