... able to take a few days each week to travel around, possibly even into France, and of course I could fly out and back and do city breaks if finance permits. But the six month adventure to Australia seems a long way away, as does a trip to Germany. As for random travel of the Twitter kind, that seems a lifetime away :(

Finding a cozy coffee shop with a real fireplace anchored my days here. I spent more time in my favorite town, Bath, took walks along the canal in Devizes, and ate the best Indian food I’d ever tasted. So we sat around all day. Jean went for a bike ride while I went to Tetbury to replenish the whisky. We sat out and had a bottle of white wine and egg and bacon for lunch in the back garden.
