    Clean and keen. That's the way I set off but the third picture is taken at the crest of the obligatory morning 'ascent' and you can see that fresh face has been replaced by my post hill look.     ... was a month of walks, contemplation about the future and foraging for bilberries. We made jam in the van. James had a hair cut. We made friends with Sam, Klaudia, Anic and Lou. And we decided that we want to move to Wales, build our own house and develop a permaculture small-holding.

    A very warm and sunny day with a light cool breeze and no clouds.

    So we sat around all day. Jean went for a bike ride while I went to Tetbury to replenish the whisky. We sat out and had a bottle of white wine and egg and bacon for lunch in the back garden.     We had a very exciting trip to the dump to get rid of a lot of rubbish we had collected over the last few months. At least the scenery on the way there was nice.
