Beautiful sunny HOT day. Walked along the village street after a huge brekkie, and then took small motor boat out on the lake, looking at the campers from the outside today! Looked inside the beautifully decorated village church. My good friend Anni and her husband Michael arrived from Munich. Anni and I had been pen-friends since we were about 12, and Anni and I had visited many times in Germany and UK, although Anni has never made ...

We decided to spend half a day visiting Munich, so we joined a walking tour on this Sunday morning, that took us through the main landmarks of the city. 80% of the city was destructed during the war, but many monuments were rebuilt in the same way in the following decades, preserving the personality of the Bavarian capital. On this tour there was a focus on beer, so it really made it seem like the yellow gold is the most important thing in the life ...

... but I think its really important that she knows that without her there is no way we would be where we are doing what we're doing. She is the dreamer in our family and she is the one who makes things happen and she is the one who takes care of us all in all the ways that each of us need and we all love her very much because of this. The rest of the day was uneventful, we just hope that Ruby's toe keeps healing so we can get back to our adventurous ...
