A Hundred Places in 36 Hours
... ve decided that the Alps are one of the prettiest landscapes in the world, especially when dusted with snow and you can see little towns below the mountains.... We ended our trip with Scheidegg, Germany which is a pretty little town with nice cafes and rolling hills and looks very old European. After picking a really nice cafe with antique china and eating good coffee and cake we left the Bodensee and Alps behind and traveled back to Winnenden.

Our last day of riding
... views of the snow-capped mountains and were slowly warming up. It also gave us time to reflect on what we had just achieved;
18 countries, 16,232kms riding on the right hand side of the road, riding through massive cities, surviving Italian drivers, Stelvio Pass, Highest pass in Europe and all with no crashes and minimal riding experience.

The Disappearing Castle
We head south now out of Munich towards the Alps. Last time we were here we hit the Autobahn and never looked back, this time we're enjoying a more leisurely pace, as we cruise the RomantishStrasse through sleepy German villages. (Now mind you, the winding roads in between these villages allow us to test the handling of the new auto…)

Not much in Lichtenstein
... check it out, but it wasn't very big or exciting, then I thought about driving into the mountains but it was so foggy I couldn't even see them, so thought better of it. Davos
... and very soon we were taking off layers to keep cool. We gained elevation quickly and once we broke through the tree line, it was a really beautiful view over the town of Davos and the surrounding mountains. The fall colours near the peak were really gorgeous, especially all the wild blueberry bushes that were a deep red-orange hue, providing a stark contrast to the evergreens and brown grass. We tried a few blueberries but they were definitely past their prime. ...
