... have experienced this week has been uniquely beautiful. Here at St. Antonien, we have an absolutely spectacular place yet again....and no clouds. The stars here are full on amazing. Shane and I hiked for about three hours the next morning then met up with the family by a small lake. Here there are four huge boulders that are set up for climbing. Christoph brought all the ropes and clips for climbing and the three young kids were busy scaling the rock. ...

Our guide Marcello is a lovely older, slightly rounded Swiss gent and asked each one of us what our nationality was as we boarded. While Marcello is a tour guide now in his semi retirement, he did the mandatory military service as a young man and then completed his chef apprenticeship which was his main career for 45 years. We ...

    Friday 29 August

Stayed around the campsite throughout the morning reading
a good book. A short local walk in the afternoon but managed to catch a bus
that took us right back to our start point rather than taking us further up the
valley side. Gave up in disgust, had a cup of tea and carried on with the good
    book.
