... the Koru Lounge so no-one was stressed getting on the plane. It's taken many years and many trips but I've finally got this sorted!
The flight was the first long haul for the kids. We lucked out with getting a late departure which enabled a select few of us to have a sleep on the plane. Air New Zealand lived up to it's reputation of treating us like kings - the entertainment, service and food ...

We went back to the gift shop from where tours begin and indulged in some very special gelato. All flavours named appropriately for shows or characters. I had the Mintalist (my usual: chocolate mint) and Marilyn had Road Runner Raspberry. A little souvenir shopping, loitering to relax in the air conditioned shop and we were under way again for our next adventure de jour.
Next stop... Studio City and the Hot in Cleveland taping.
... was really clear. You could see about 30 feet down. The reef itself was not in very shallow water though so you didn’t get as good a view of the fish as at Hanauma Bay.
It was a fun trip and I really enjoyed seeing the dolphins (and a turtle) but I wish we had been able to actually sail and not motor, though I realize it is condition dependent. They provide a light breakfast, cocktails and lunch of pasta salad, cold cuts, kalua pig chips and salsa.
... to the I Heart Music show and he had a taped vignette to show. It was a very sweet segment.
11. The guests... out they come. Scott Foley dances his way in with Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn. The agent, the fixer and the president. Lots of laughter and questions about kissing and who is more hated in the love triangle by audiences. The two men find themselves defending one another. And, Kerry is not willing to commit to whom she prefers to kiss. End ...
... at home! We checked to very comfy rooms and had a quick freshen up before finding a drink and some dinner - we were all flagging big time by now after so many hours without sleep - and we were back in our rooms and lights out at 8.30pm. It had been a long trip, but the Air New Zealand flights were great and we made the most of the stopover in Auckland, so despite feeling pretty pooped we are ready to start the Road ...
