... per hour, you can't beat train travel in Europe...you leave in the middle of town and get to the middle of town. 15 minutes in a taxi, 10 Euro's later, and we are the hotel..makes Adelaide taxi fares look very very expensive! We are approx 200 metres from the Spanish steps, so went up there to descend the steps and take photo's etc. after some lunch, walked around to find a laundry...eventually...10 euro's ...

Off to local town Castelina to pay our parking fine at the post office. Christine and I lost it, the staff were far from helpful and one was so inappropriately dressed. Fine paid not as bad as we thought and off to eat gelati and drink coffee. We had breakfast at the resort this morning so no one was hungry, just needed a snack. The town is lovely very quiet and the people so friendly. Several purchases made and then on the road ...

Catacombs and labyrinths

We had a lazy start to today. Ate our cornflakes and head off to Chiusi and Montepulciano. Chiusi has catacombs and a labyrinth. I went in the labyrinth and I hated it, firstly you had to enter it by see thought stairs and the walkway in the labyrinth was see through with a sheer drop of at least a mile, or a few metres!
