... we drove through the fog which was very patchy. As we climbed higher into the majestic redwoods, it disappeared, so we opened the roof to enjoy the sunshine once more. It had been a little chilly for the first few miles and when Brit turned blue we had shut the roof for a while.

Well folks, I got the RV all put back together and I am on the road once again.
I left Ft Bragg, CA this morning (8-25) and headed north to the California redwoods and the Avenue of the Giants Highway. The coast line is still beautiful, even with the fog, and the redwoods are absolutely amazing !!

When I drove down the highway in the redwood forest it felt like I ...

... since even before that when we just borrowed it last year.) Of course, nothing will get done overnight but at least we can get the balls rolling. As we heard a fellow RV'er tell a front desk agent last year, "Take your time, I'm retired!" And he was TOTALLY serious, not a trace of sarcasm to be found! :)
